Premium Lenses

The most commonly used intraocular lenses are monofocal or single focus intraocular lenses. Whilst monofocal IOLs are excellent at restoring the distant vision following cataract surgery, patients will often still require glasses for near vision (reading a book, mobile phones) and intermediate vision (desktop computer screen, dashboard on cars).

Premium lenses reduce the dependency on glasses or contact lenses for near and intermediate vision. Premium lenses can be implanted during cataract surgery or refractive lens exchange.

However, such lenses are not suitable for all patients. During your consultation, Mr Reddy will discuss with you and advise you on the type of intraocular lenses that best suits your requirements.
